Snafu was an original band I fronted from 2001 to 2012. We were known for bass driven grooves mixed with introspective lyrics, sang powerfully over thunderous drums and grungy guitar. This trio, and later quartet, was a funk laden rock band with a sometimes ska feel and a punk rock-antiestablishment-attitude. In the span of 10yrs, the band released three albums, The 1st “Krumpt” in 2003. The 2nd, and most successful, “Outside The Collective Hive” in 2008, and the 3rd release in 2011 “Snafu The Album”, featuring A.B. Novel T on additional vocals. All of these albums were recorded independently and with a limited budget. But left behind a legacy of great, thought provoking rock n roll. The Best Of Snafu (Enhanced Edition) is a collection of the group’s most popular songs, remastered with enhanced audio effects, added clarity and beefed up production quality. A good analogy would be, an old car, getting refurbished with a new engine, seats and paint. Then a nice coat of wax for an extra shine. If you were fans of the band back in the day, these enhanced versions will be a real treat. If you’re discovering Snafu though my solo efforts, I’m confident you’ll enjoy this old band of mine as well.
